The Faulkner County Leadership Institute (FCLI) is currently accepting applications for the Class of 2014. With over 500 graduates, FCLI will soon kick-off its 27th year.
FCLI is a year-long program designed to help participants learn more about themselves and Faulkner County. Whether one is an emerging leader or an established leader, participating in FCLI provides them with the opportunity to increase their knowledge of Faulkner County as well as further develop their leadership skills through a variety of sessions and project development. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to form new relationships, while further developing their abilities to work as a cohesive team.
Members of the FCLI class will meet monthly to cover a broad curriculum of civic and social issues in and around Faulkner County. Curriculum topics include state government, county government, agriculture, economic development, human services, health care and education.
Applicants must be at least 25-years-old and live or work within Faulkner County. An application fee of $25 is required at the time of application. Tuition in the program is $575. Limited full and partial scholarships are available.
Those interested in applying may download their application at http://fclionline.org/apply/. The completed application should be mailed to FCLI, P.O.Box 2656, Conway, AR 72033. Should anyone have any questions, feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
