The UCA Dixieland Band will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Faulkner County Library.
The band was formed in 1976 by Professor Patrick Hasty and is currently led by Dr. Jackie Lamar, Professor of Saxophone.
The band performs traditional jazz ensembles in the New Orleans and Chicago styles.
This year’s members are Dr. Jerry Manion, banjo; Travis Shaver, clarinet; Kaleb Knight, tenor saxophone; Perry Claunch, trumpet; Keith Dove, trombone; Chris Winfrey, tuba; Stephen Sivils, piano; and Simon Stone and Kyle Littlejohn, drums.
