Theft of services, 1-A City Cab.
An owner of the cab company contacted Conway police after a driver reported three young male subjects did not pay for a cab ride and later threatened a driver.
The owner told police a cab picked the subjects up from an apartment at Clifton Street Apartments where the cab has previously had business.
She reported the driver told her the subjects jumped out of the car at Hortons Gas Station near Walmart and got into a light blue van before driving away.
The owner said she called the phone number for one of the subjects who called for the cab and told him to pay the fare.
The male subject told her to have the cab driver come to his location and he would pay.
The owner told the subject he had to come to the cab company to pay.
The report states the subject then told her to send the driver to his location so he could "kick their [expletive]."
The owner told police the fare was only $7, but she was concerned about the threat.
Police said because the threat wasn't made toward a specific person, a threat report could not be made.

"She reported the driver told her the subjects jumped out of the car at Hortons Gas Station near Walmart and got into a light blue van before driving away."
So why didn't they just have the blue van come pick them up to begin with? It just seems ridiculous for someone to stiff a cabbie on the fare and then get into a getaway vehicle.
Ummm??

Is the threat not specifically towards the driver of the cab????
huh?

So, apparently in Conway, you can threaten unspecific people?
So, be sure and be vague with your threats.
Me, or someone like me, may or may not at some point in time, to be determined later, or sooner, will exact revenge on someone or maybe someone else but not anyone specific, just someone of the human race or other life form, such as algae or mold and mildew, with the rage of someone that is upset about something that may or may not have been a big deal to me, or someone like me, at some point in the recent or not-so-recent past.
Do I hear sirens?
Thank you for that. I can
Thank you for that. I can only hit thumbs up once though sadly.
What about the stolen fare?
I'm not trying to state the obvious or act like some super sleuth but can't the police just go to the Clifton Street apartments and apprehend at least 1 of the suspects from the site of the pick up? Am I reading too much into this one? He did request that someone come to his location.
