Garay charged with rape, sexual assault

Posted: March 15, 2013 - 9:00pm

Charges have been brought against 42-year-old Eusebio Francisco Garay, 4405 Bay Hill Drive, Conway, for rape and second degree sexual assault.

Conway Police Det. Brian Williams confirmed Garay was an employee at Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Conway until recently. An employee at Kimberly-Clark said he could not provide Garay’s title and refused to comment further.

There are two counts of rape and four counts of second degree sexual assault for allegedly having sexual relations with a minor known to him. The relations occurred from on or about July 2012 to November 2012.

The two counts of rape are a class Y felony, which can carry a sentence of no less than 10 years in prison and can get up to forty years to life in prison.

Prosecuting Attorney Cody Hiland said bond has been set for $500,000. If bond is met, Garay will have a no contact order, a GPS ankle monitor and can be nowhere near children.

“I think the severity of what happened is setting in,” Hiland said.
