State of Health is luncheon topic

The state of health in Arkansas and in Faulkner County will be on the agenda during the Conway Regional Women’s Council’s inaugural “State of Health” luncheon on Thursday, March 28.


The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the UCA Student Center Ballroom.

The event will include Conway Regional’s report to the community on health in Faulkner County and discussion of the community’s health status as well as healthcare reform and Medicaid expansion from a local, state and national perspective.

Guest speakers will be Joe Bates, MD, Deputy Director of the Arkansas Department of Health, and Jim Lambert, president and CEO of Conway Regional Health System.
