At least one University of Central Arkansas student is under investigation for criminal “video voyeurism” after an incident recorded at the Sigma Phi Epsilon house Feb. 8, according to an incident report filed by police earlier this week. The video is connected to the Delta Zeta sorority.
“We are in the process of putting all the pieces together,” police spokesman Arch Jones said.
Little information was immediately available Thursday. Police redacted names because their release could harm the investigation, Jones said.
Advisors for the fraternity and sorority did not return messages left Thursday.
On Thursday afternoon, university police met with Prosecutor Cody Hiland to talk about the case.
The case is connected to a video of a Delta Zeta member, Jones said. He said university Student Services made inquires and determined an investigation is warranted. Ronnie Williams, vice president of student services, said he knew about the case, but was allowing police to do their work and get the facts before deciding whether university policy has been violated.
