Forty to 50 children were evacuated from Smart Start Christian Academy on Dave Ward Drive due to a gas leak.
The children were transported to New Life Church and parents were notified of the situation and change in pick-up location.
Conway Fire Department Assistant Chief Mike Winter said a major pipeline runs by the school and a pop off valve did not shut off properly.
Winter said initial readings at the site were fine but soon gas levels started to rise.
"We felt with our readings rising it would be best to evacuate the children," he said.
The valve was fixed after the evacuation. The building now has a safe gas reading of zero and the building has been aired out.

Organization is the correct spelling. If you could comprehend what I have posted with your midget mental capabilities, it would be clear to you that I have said many times, I have no ill will for any "organization" and I have not accused any organization of anything. I have ill will towards child molesters, and ill will against those who choose to protect them, by not informing the parents of children who may have been affected by the crimes.
If anyone at the Kanakuk Kamps organization, or their recruiting group K-Life would post a response, a letter, or a forum post and say that after these crimes were discovered, a letter or phone call was sent to all of the parents whose children attended during the time these criminals were employed there, I will cease my campaign to inform the public. Its just that easy.
As for now, I will have to cease responding to the personal attacks, how ever small minded they are, so I can concentrate on informing news media organizations in about 40 other cities about these same incidents (excluding Park Cities, Tx. where the Kult is busy defending them like people here).
