The Conway High School softball team and parents will sponsor a “Pick A Pitcher” fundraiser starting at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lady Cat Field.
Proceeds from the event will go toward a new tarp. The one currently used by the Lady Cats is a hand-me-down and well worn.
It’s an opportunity for Conway fans and the general public to test themselves in a fast pitch softball setting. Under the format for the event, the public is asked to pay $1 per pitch to bat against any player of the Lady Cats’ fast pitch team of his choosing.
There will also be a silent auction and open concession.
