Vilonia woman killed in wreck

A Vilonia woman was killed in a traffic accident Friday when she pulled out in front of another motorist on the Highway 64 Vilonia Bypass from Cypress Road, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report.

The report states Nina Martin, 39, 73 Cypress Loop in Vilonia, drove her Chevrolet Cavalier onto the bypass in front of an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado driven by Jonathan Burgin, of Conway.

The report states Burgin was injured and transported to Conway Regional Hospital.

Martin was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.

The accident occurred at 6:18 p.m.

How fast Burgin was going have been run over by people doing 75 to 80 MPH or more.

speed limit

speed limit there is 65 but if she was pulling out of her street that she lives off of, she got tboned without a seatbelt on. Would have been tough with a seat belt on to survive that without major damage
