1. Small plane crashes at airport
Robert Allen of Oxford, MS. crashed his plane shortly after take off at the Conway Municipal Airport. He was airlifted to the UAMS medical center but died from his injuries overnight.
2. Police work accident on Hwy. 64
Emergency personnel work a two-vehicle accident that occurred after 4 p.m. on July 10th at Ranchette Road and Highway 64. The accident involved a Walmart freight truck and an unknown passenger vehicle.

Officers with the Conway Police Dept. and deputies with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office respond to a disturbance between party-goers at the restaurant.
5. Semi pulled from Lake Conway
A semi-truck traveling westbound overnight crashed through the guard rail, coming to a rest in Lake Conway near mile maker 131 on Interstate 40. State troopers reported tajt traffic was backed up for approximately 5 miles west of the crash scene. The truck driver, Timothy Ward, was treated from minor injuries.
6. West Conway Bear
A five-hour standoff between emergency officials and a black bear perched in a tree ended with the animal being brought safely to the ground after three tranquilizer darts and high pressure water hose, landing on a yellow bounce castle below.
7. In-Car Footage of Jason Davis Arrest
The dashcam video of the arrest of former officer Jason Gregory Davis, who was charged with a DWI after wrecking his truck in the early morning of April 30th. Davis was terminated by the department for an unrelated personnel issue.
8. Body found at vacant lot on Harkrider St.
Human remains were found in a vacant lot on Harkrider Street, just north of McKinney Tire in Conway. The body was found in tall grass about 15 feet from a vehicle with California plates.
9. Fatality fire deaths ruled murder/suicide
After leaving a suicide note and neatly gathering important documents for safekeeping, a 63-year-old grandmother stabbed her 7-year-old granddaughter and then set fire to her residence, killing them both. Authorities with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that Janice and Abby Robbins were both alive at the time of the blaze.
10. CBC picks assistant as new softball coach
Crystal Robinson, an assistant coach at Central Baptist College for three seasons, is the Lady Mustangs' new softball and volleyball coach. In her role as assistant softball coach for the Lady Mustangs, CBC compiled records of 52-1, 57-7 and 53-6.
