A Conway woman heard a loud “pop” and found a small hole in her window and window blinds at her trailer at Robins Street.
A 30-year-old woman told police she was sitting on the couch watching TV with her daughter at about 3:25 a.m. Sunday when she heard the sound. The mother and daughter went into the kitchen where they found the hole in the window.
The responding officer searched outside the trailer but found no shell casing. Officers searched inside for a bullet but “were unable to find one,” according to the police report.
The woman said she didn’t know anyone who would want to shoot at her trailer.

Doesn't surprise me any. I lived in Vilonia and a Sheriff came out after my home had gotten shot at. He didn't even see the bullet. In fact said that it looked like someone might have hit it with a stick.
Ok, I'm no detective, but there was no glass outside. It was all inside, and it was one small hole and frazzled cracks around it. Not to mention my window was about 8 to 10 feet off the ground. After the fake detective left.
I stuck a pen in it to just see where the aim was. It was angled shortly away from my entertainment center barely, and I just kind of looked and sure enough there was a hole in my wall past my recliner. I had just turned off the lamp that night when it happened. I had my baby girl in my arms.
I'm not telling this for a pity story...I'm telling this because the detective is probably never going to find anything. I dug that bullet out of my wall and turned it in. He said it was probably just a pellet. IT wasn't. I found out who the shooter was, thru people who bragged, and what gun it was even. This was back in 2007. Years ago, but still. It was a rifle. Might of not hurt me really bad, but could have killed my daughter still infant daughter.
So, I totally know your fear. In your instance they probably weren't aiming at you. But, scary none theless. Pray that it was a one time thing at that the cops will do their job this time. They didn't then, and this man did alot of damage to alot of people for a long time.
Either way
Aiming at you or not, it could have killed you. Guns are so pervasive in our society that we are all at some level of danger of getting shot, either in anger, through a criminal act or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
It was just the other day....
...I saw three guns walking down the street...
Oh no, wait...three guns walked into a bar.....
/sarcasm end
Deal with the source of the problem - the disturbed individuals who can't function in society - and incidents like this are much less likely to occur.
How do you know?
And how do you know this was a disturbed individual? Sounds to me like a kid who took his daddy's gun out without permission.
imho
Anyone who takes any gun and shoots at homes is a disturbed person...be it a grown adult or a "kid" with "daddy's" gun.
Gun Nut
Lachow, Look in the mirror... you have become a gun nut in every sense of the words.
Well........
Was the gun out there alone or did a human bring it?

It seems like I am either reading about or hearing about someone's house getting shot at every few weeks lately. Almost always in old Conway and always a small caliber. I wonder if it is the same person(s) doing it. Scary stuff.
