Log Cabin Democrat videographer Eric White was atop a nearby building to catch the demolition of the "blue building" early Tuesday morning.
The city's street department equipment and workers had the building gone in only 45 minutes.
Most recently a machine shop and a NAPA parts store, the building was donated to the city by the Earl Rogers family with the hope that the triangular-shaped space will become an attractive gateway to the city.

Add commentMan, I bet that REALLY
changes the way that part of town looks now!
*high five*
Nice work getting a good shot, and nice work writing the head; nice work.
I Still Say
BEER GARDEN
Sit there wave at traffic and have a cold "adult" beverage
a whole building gone in 45 minutes...
and yet Wescon still has a pothole the size of a SUV that's waiting to be fixed; that street has been blocked off for at least 4 years now...
yes
And the Dryer Building is still standing.
Amazing, isn't it?
Now
If they could somehow figure out how to get rid of the "no left turn" signs we'll be in business.
USE
Van Ronkle St or Main St and make all the left hand turns you want.
Just don't block\back up traffic in Oak St waiting on a break in never ending traffic because you can't or won't use Main St or Van Ronkle instead of Oak.
Well
I guess that is a good point.
remember
Three rights make a left.
Because
2 Wrongs Don't make a Right
But 2 Wrights make an airplane
And like you said 3 Rt's make a Left
