Aggravated assault at 500 block of Cherub Drive.

Police were dispatched to a residence in the area in reference to a domestic disturbance.

A caller advised there were two males fighting in front of a residence and that one was chasing the other with a kitchen knife.

According to the Conway Police Department incident report, when a responding officer made contact with the two subjects, one began cursing at the officer and at the other subject, his brother.

The report stated the subject moved toward his brother and the officer ordered him to the ground, but he did not comply.

The officer told him again to comply or he would be tased, and the subject complied, the report stated.

Two other officers arrived on scene and took the subject into custody.

A statement from the subject's brother indicated the fight took place over a necklace.

The subject told police his brother chased him with a knife around the yard and into the street.

He also stated his brother chased him with a coffee pot, which police found in the yard of the residence.
