About 1,600 Entergy customers north of Vilonia are expected to experience power outages starting at 2 p.m. today, an Entergy spokesman said.
The affected customers will be residents along State Highways 36 and 107.
The power will be cut off so that emergency repair work can be performed on power lines in the area.
The outage is expected to last about one hour.
