One arrested for maintaining drug premises

Posted: October 15, 2012 - 6:07pm

The execution of a search warrant on Tuesday at Fox Run Apartments on Donaghey Avenue netted one arrest and the confiscation of contraband.

Police arrived at the residence around 6:30 a.m. After knocking on the door of the residence and getting no response, investigators rammed the door open and discovered Yasmine Cox, 19, inside of a bathroom, another man outside of the bathroom, and a man and a woman in a bed.

All of the occupants were removed from the apartment during the search.

Inside of the home, investigators found a black Lorcin .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun in a cycling clothes washer, a digital scale containing a pile of “green vegetable matter” in the kitchen, two bags of vegetable matter, a cigarette roller and a digital scale inside of a vacuum cleaner.

Cox claimed one bag of suspected marijuana, but denied that any other contraband belonged to her. She also said she had no knowledge of the owner of the gun, but stated that her “homeboy” had been washing clothes for work.

Cox was transported to Faulkner County jail and was charged with possession with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

All other occupants of the residence were released.

All contraband was transported to the Conway Police Department, where it was packaged and secured for submission to the Arkansas State Crime Lab.

That was a dumb assuration

The color was mentioned for the gun to give a better description.
Racism is how you treat a person only based on color or other aspects that a person has no control over.
Perhaps you are being racist by think such.

The "funnier" joke is that someone gave him/her a thumbs up.

That made me chuckle.
