Officials with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Marshall Service and probation and parole officers successfully made contact with 120 of the county’s 153 registered sex offenders during a roundup initiative on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Capt. Matt Rice said deputies conduct the checks about twice a year to make sure offenders are living in the residences to which they are registered and to check for any illegal weapons or illegal material on their personal computers.
Ten people (slideshow) who were arrested for various violations included:
• Bryan Taylor Bolden, 20, was arrested by his probation officer Levi Lovin for probation violation and will serve two days in jail.
• David Conley, 44, was arrested on four outstanding misdemeanor warrants from Conway, Mayflower, Morrilton and Maumelle.
• Harold Hugdahl, 53, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
• David Troutman, 35, was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, Class C felony, after he moved to another residence and failed to notify offials. A first appearance hearing is set for Friday in Faulkner County Circuit Court.
• Sandy Lovett/Wheeler, 34, was arrested on an outstanding felony body attachment for failure to pay child support.
• Nicholas Vickery, 24, was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender, after he moved to another residence and failed to notify authorities. A first appearance hearing is set for Friday in Faulkner County Circuit Court.
• Perry County sex offender Jason Bond, 33, was arrested for an outstanding absconder warrant by his parole officer Levi Lovin for failure to register as a sex offender. FCSO Investigator Wooley, PO Lovin and USMS Blevins found and arrested Bond at 320 Highway 113 South in Bigelow.
• Brian Bradberry, 50, is not a sex offender but was located at the home of an offender and was arrested on an outstanding felony theft of property warrant out of Polk County.
• Scott Rice, 30, is not a sex offender but was located at the home of an offender and was arrested for an outstanding absconder warrant by probation and parole.
• Brian Teague, 34, is not a sex offender but was located at the home of an offender and was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor hot check warrant.

I, for one, am very glad that they do these checks and keep tabs on the less than moral that live among us. My sincere appreciation goes out to all of the agencies and officers involved.
I wonder where
Astonishing that there are 153 sex offenders in Faulkner County. I'm glad they keep tabs on them, but I wonder where the 33 they *didn't* contact are?
Prison
Is a possibility. They may be registered in Faulkner but serving time in the DOC. Let's hope that's the answer!
