Bassham announces campaign for House seat

Cody Bassham announced his campaign for State Representative District 70.

“With a focus on education and infrastructure, we will be able to attract and retain good jobs right here in Arkansas,” Bassham said. “Growing up on a farm taught me the value of hard work, and of an education.

“In the legislature I will work to eliminate the grocery tax, and find areas where we can save taxpayers money. I believe the best Arkansas is still to come.”

Bassham and his wife, Marlys, are Conway residents. They graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where they met, and are members of 2nd Baptist Church in Conway. Bassham is currently a night law student at UALR School of Law, and consults with businesses advertising online.
