When are we going to celebrate a German, Scott-Irish heritage as well...
Ummm...those celebrations
Ummm...those celebrations take place all the time. Hot Springs, for example, has a pretty big Oktoberfest every year. St. Patrick's Day is a big deal in Little Rock, which hosts one of the largest St. Patrick's Day parades in the US every year. We always have Irish dancers and invite everyone to be Irish with us for a day. Slainte! Annunciation Church hosts an awesome Greek festival every year. Greek dances, Greek food, etc., are plentiful. Opa!
Sorry you've missed out on these great events. I know that at our annual Irish Festival in LR, you are more than welcome. I'm sure the same is true at the other events, as well. I honestly had no idea that people in Conway were unaware that these great ethnic celebrations took place every year. Learn something new every day!
Well....
Earn, did you attend the story telling segment about the splendor of the diverse cultura? Can you share?
Bud
I don't know.
I'm reminded....
We celebrate EVERY day!!!
