A Benton man was arrested for public intoxication over the weekend after he entered a Conway convenience store nude, officials say.
Police were dispatched to a disturbance just before 11 a.m. Saturday at Dusty’s convenience store on Harkrider Street after Adam Marshall Elrod, 18, reportedly entered the store naked, claiming he had been forced by a 48-year-old Little Rock man to drink and do drugs. He also alleged the man threatened to rape him.
Authorities say Elrod was “highly intoxicated.”
He was booked into Faulkner County jail and an investigation into the allegations is ongoing.

What if...
I don't know this person from Adam, but what if what he is claiming really did happen, What if it had been a naked girl running into the gas station claiming the same thing, would the paper have given her name and put her picture in the paper? There have been claims of rape here lately by some girls, women, whatever, but no names and definitely pictures were not provided, and several have even recanted their story, and yet the names were still not released.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander, or so that's how I was raised. It's sad to think, yet once again, that the LCD Tabloid would destroy yet another innocent person's life before the whole story is known. Plus the story did not say he "WAS" raped just that the alleged 48 year old man threatened to rape him. They call that Monday @ Tucker Max.

would you or anybody have cared if it were a woman. Would she even have been arrested. People are arrested daily for "threatening" things without doing. Will this "alleged" 48-year-old man, if found be arrested for his Threat. If the role was reversed, and it were a woman, the Lynch Mob would already be out there looking for the "Alleged" 48-year-old.
