A “Fall Salebration” is planned for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 6, with artists, craftsmen and home-based business owners showcasing their wares in the Life Center at the Vilonia Church of the Nazarene, 1054 Main Street in Vilonia.
“I don’t think there has ever been anything like this here,” said Martha Martin, director of the Women’s Ministry, sponsors of the event. “It’s a good opportunity to buy gifts plus there will be lots of information and some of the small businesses will be recruiting sales people.”
There is no admission fee to shop. There will also be drawings for several door prizes. No need to eat before you come, concessions will be available.
Anyone wishing to sell homemade items or those with small businesses are encouraged to participate. Booth spaces are available at $60 each and includes a table and chairs. The proceeds from the booths, Martin said, will go into to the church building fund. The sanctuary was hit by the 2011 tornado and remains in disrepair.
