Final Friday update:
Human remains were found in a vacant lot Friday on Harkrider Street, just north of McKinney Tire in Conway.
According to La Tresha Woodruff, public information officer for the Conway Police Department, authorities were notified when someone who stopped to see if a car parked in the lot was for sale found a body nearby.
The body was found in tall grass about 15 feet from a vehicle with California plates.
Woodruff said speculation was that the car belonged to the subject. Witnesses in the area told police the vehicle had been in the lot for about one week.
Detectives believe the body has also been in the lot for one week, Woodruff said.
"It is badly decomposed so it's hard to say, but we believe it is a man," she said.
There were no obvious signs for the cause of death found at the scene Friday, Woodruff said.

No one noticed this vehicle sitting for a week, nor the smell of a body decomposing.
I did a bit of research and a man named Jerry Wayne Gentry, Jr. has been missing from Clayton County, GA since Wednesday August 29th, he was last seen wearing jeans, black shoes and a red shirt. Is there a clothing description for this person?
