and what about the rest of the time?

I understand this power outage was a needed one. But what about the rest of the time when the power is out? We loose power at least once a week. This is one power company i wish i could choose not to use, but where my home is located i have no choice.

Agreed

That's what happens when you're stuck with EntergeeIwishIhadpower.

Look on the bright side. At least when the power is out your not using any electricity. But then again they'll spike your bill to account for the work their crews are doing.

PC?

Is it politically correct to tell someone to look on the bright side during a power outage? Just sayin!

Well

It's no different from telling them to cool off.

A windmill and start your own electric company.
Buy a generator
Move closer to town
Get off the grid

There are options if you are not happy
If not I would say deal with it.

We have a closer relationship

We have a closer relationship now with Entergy. We're in direct contact so we will be able to let you know the reason for any future outage. That is, as long as the company releases that information.
