Becky Moltz of Holland has entered her name as an independent candidate for Ward 1, Position 2 for the Holland City Council’s general election.
Moltz said she is looking to incorporate Holland through community efforts and new business.
“I am anticipating having a co-ed or a church league softball teams to utilize our field in Holland,” Moltz said. “Games would have to be on Saturdays as we have nights for the field at this time.”
Moltz moved to Holland from North Little Rock in 2003. She has two grown daughters who reside in Shreveport, La. She has been married to her husband, Joe, for 35 years. Moltz works for Arkansas Blue Cross.
In addition to her commitment to using the area parks, Moltz said she is also committed to bring a small business to the community. She said she is also looking forward to being a part of the back-to-school bash on August 11.
“I am looking forward to the excitement of students and their parents when they are offered free school supplies and slightly used clothes to begin their school year,” she said.
