An exciting lineup of pop music is being prepared for the 14th Annual Spring Concert of the Conway Men’s Chorus at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The presentation, free to the public, will be at Reynolds Performance Hall on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas.
Parking is also free and can be found to the west, north and south of Reynolds Hall as well as a block away on the east side of Donaghey Avenue.
Doors will open at 6:30.
Selections for the concert cover a variety of musical styles and will include “Ol’ Man River,” “The Best of Doo-Wop,” “The Awakening,” “Manly Men,” “Set Me As a Seal Upon Your Heart.” “MLK,” “Blades of Grass and Pure White Stone,” “Who Are the Brave” and more.
The Chorus is under the direction of Sam Husky and is composed of men of all ages. Piano accompanist is Paul Bradley, and assistant directors are Jim Loyd and Dr. Greg Murry.
Opening the concert will be the 14-member a cappella singing group from Conway High School, “No Boys Aloud.” Marking their debut with this appearance, they will perform “Spotlight,” “Fix You” and “Firework”.
