World Thinking Day — Taster’s Tea

Posted: February 21, 2012 - 6:26pm
The Faulkner County Girl Scouts held their annual World Thinking Day Celebration (Taster’s Tea) at First United Methodist Church of Conway on Feb. 12. World Thinking Day is a special day where Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world “think” of each other and give thanks and appreciation to their “sister” Girl Scouts. It was a huge success as more than 400 “passports” were sold. Participants had their passports stamped at the booths, which represented a country, as they went around the world in the room tasting food from many countries. The girls had a lot of fun sharing information, tasting delicacies and trading SWAPS from their countries. SUBMITTED PHOTO
