U of A Community College at Morrilton - closed
University of Central Arkansas - classes are cancelled
Central Arkansas Junior High basketball tournament in Bryant: The basketball games today have been cancelled in Bryant — Today's games moved to Thursday. Both the middle school and high school gyms will be used. The championship game will be Saturday at the middle school gym.

Add commentI understand that proactive is better than reactive, but....
...couldn't these schools have at least waited until some meaningful amount of precipitation fell (and stuck) on the ground before calling off school for today?
As happy as you may be for the day off, you will have to make it up at some point this year so enjoy going that extra day in May or losing a later scheduled snow day this year!
