The Conway Boy Scout court of honor will be conducted at the courthouse tonight at 7:30 o’clock.
This week is national Boy Scout week and a special event is planned each day by national headquarters. A broadcast by President Roosevelt was on the program for 4:30 p.m. today.

Ed Speaker revealed today he had purchased additional property from the Missouri Pacific Railroad Co., in the Conway station area.
Speaker said he acquired an area 30 by 67 feet with Front Street frontage and an area 20 by 260 feet in size with Parkway frontage.
The Front Street property lies north of property Speaker previously had acquired at Front and Prairie streets. The Parkway property is north of a lot the Conway Corp. recently purchased from Missouri Pacific at Parkway and Prairie.
The price paid for the most recent acquisitions was not divulged.

Two Conway students recently qualified for the honor roll for the fall semester at the University of Dallas.
They are Elizabeth Lachowsky, a senior, and Stephen Freyaldenhoven, a junior. The honor is given to students who complete 14 or more credit hours with a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49 out of a possible 4.0.

True Holiness Saints Center will host an appreciation service honoring Jorie and Tereth Johnson and their family for their many years of service to the ministry.
The Johnsons will be establishing a church ministry in McKinney, Texas.
The service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at True Holiness Saints Center on Highway 286 east of Conway. Many local churches and choirs will be featured at the celebration.
