Join the Conway EcoFest for this exciting brainstorming meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at the Faulkner County Library meeting room, 1900 Tyler St., Conway. Input is needed to discuss what you would like to see and explore at the next Conway EcoFest, scheduled for Sept. 8 in Laurel Park.
Come discuss new ideas, topics, and ways to further expand the scope, usefulness, and excitement of this all-inclusive event.
This community event is geared for all ages that blends local food, activities, and music, with an interactive and balanced exploration of the connections among the many environmental issues and with our daily lives.
Volunteers are also encouraged to attend to see where their talents could best be utilized for this fall festival. Time commitments and skill-sets vary.
There’s a role for everyone from educators to carpenters, and from general volunteers to coordinators.
If you have an interest in health issues that pertain to our environment, cars, energy sources, Green Building, natural resources, organics/Agri, the arts, construction, community service, and more, your help would be most welcome. Snacks will be provided.
