SEARCY, Ark. — The following local residents are among nearly 1,200 Harding University students included on the dean’s list for grades achieved during the fall 2011 semester.
Audrey McBay, freshman, Joshua Pilgrim, senior, Allison Scoggin, senior, Brittany Starkey, senior, Catherine Summers, sophomore, all of Conway; Claire Allensworth, junior, Greenbrier; Aulora Fay, junior, and Austin Messer, freshman, both of Vilonia.
The dean’s list is published each semester by Dr. Larry Long, university provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade point average and no incompletes.
With more than 7,100 students, Harding is the largest private university in Arkansas and attracts more National Merit Scholars than any other private university in the state. Harding also maintains campuses in Australia, Chile, England, France, Greece, Italy and Zambia.
