Driving while license is suspended, 600 block of S. Harkrider St.
An officer observed the driver of a vehicle driving left of the center line and initiated a traffic stop to make contact with him. When he asked the driver for his driver’s license, the man admitted that his license had been suspended. The man was asked to get out of the vehicle, which upset him. The officer noted that the man “kept yelling and crying” until the officer advised that he needed to calm down. At that time, the man threw his keys at the officer, nearly hitting him. Following the man’s tantrum, he was arrested and transported to the Faulkner County Detention Center for processing. His vehicle was towed from the area.

If your not man enough to accept it when you get caught your not mature enough to drive in the first place.
Unless it was this guy

Such a tragedy
Why can't the CPD just let that poor man break the law and endanger us without being harassed? He's a person too and he has feelings.
If he broke down crying in a traffic stop I can only imagine how his time in the jail went.
The charge?
Assault with a weepy weapon.
Don't forget...
Driving on a suspended manhood.
You got to wonder
What was piling up on the guy for him to be in such a position culminating with him crying to a cop on a city street.
I ain't saying he's made good decisions or anything, but at one or two levels I do feel sorry for him.
Not often enough
@ucantbeserious - I don't get the giggles often enough on the crime beat and your 'suspended manhood' comment cracked me up. Thank you:)
:)
Glad I could bring a smile to someone's face today.
This is really unreal. I do
This is really unreal. I do love the "suspended manhood" comment. That was just great. I wonder if this man will end up on "World's Dumbest." It would really be funny to see a video of him crying and throwing his keys.
When people get pulled over you could be fooled but should just admit what they did wrong and take the ticket, unless of course you are girl and can get away with crying.
Suspended manhood fits this story
However, it was even better because we didn't have a case of suspended cophood. In this case, the office did this miscreant the favor of calling this man's needs to the attention of a judge. Oh that judges had more discretion to amend the behavior so many parents fail to correct in childhood years.
Exactly
I am curious as to why his license was suspended to begin with. Clearly he has a proven track record of being unable to operate a vehicle within the law.
