APDF donates to Women’s Shelter

Representatives with the Arkansas Police Defense Foundation recently donated $500 to the Conway branch of the Women’s Shelter of Central Arkansas, Inc. The organization helps abuse victims and works with local law enforcement agencies to aid the victim during the investigation of the crime. The Arkansas Police Defense Foundation has done a great job in the area not only with this donation, but with several other programs. They should be saluted!
Question
I've never heard of these folks, and when I google them it pops up the National Police Defense Foundation. Is this like a state-level chapter of the national organization? Is there a website where I can find out more about them?

I had the same question. I can't find a single police officer that has heard of them. If they do opperate an Arkansas chapter it isn't a Conway chapter. It appears to me that the only money that will stay in the Conway area is this $500. While nice I'm skeptical.
