Post Office closing Friday and Saturday

Charles McEntarffer of Conway opens the door to the temporary trailer that has been used for an office since renovations at Conway’s Post Office Downtown at 1111 Main St. began. All that’s left of the construction is removing the trailer, moving computer equipment and a clean-up of the construction area, said Postmaster Dana Urbanski. The office will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9 and reopen for regular hours on Monday, Sept. 12. Customers will not have access to the P.O. Boxes during that time, and there will be no retail service on Saturday, Sept. 10. The post office at 1060 Hogan Lane will be open from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 10 for retail services.
