Among reports recently released by the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Department:
1. Breaking and entering, 60 block of Matthews Road, Enola. A man called for assistance after discovering that someone had kicked in his front door and had stolen a play station gaming system and some speakers. Deputies were not able to obtain fingerprints at the scene and an incident report was filed.
2. Simple assault, 10 block of Leadership Lane, Greenbrier. A woman called for assistance following a physical altercation with her husband. The woman stated that “the incident started when she confronted him about his gay tendencies”. The woman also advised that both parties had been drinking prior to the altercation. The victim told officers that she left the residence and went to a friend’s home to avoid a physical altercation but returned to discover that her husband had locked her out of the residence. She gained access to the home through her daughter’s bedroom window and stated that her husband pushed her against a counter and grabbed her by the throat before pushing her to the floor. The victim advised that while she was on her way to their bedroom to collect her personal belongings, the man threw the cat’s litter box at her. The suspect left the residence when the woman called for assistance.
3. All other offenses, 10 block of Leadership Lane, Greenbrier. Deputies made contact with a woman who stated that her husband had taken her clothing when he came to collect his belongings from their home. Deputies advised the woman that the issue is a civil matter and an incident report was filed.
4. Theft of property, 10 block of Arkla Dock Road, Mayflower. Deputies made contact with a man who stated that a neighbor came to his home and asked him to repay some money that the victim owed him. When the victim advised that he did not have the money, the suspect hit him on the head with a walking cane and continued to assault him. The suspect stole the victim’s cell phone and car keys and went back to his own home. The suspect returned about 20 minutes later and left with the victim’s vehicle. Deputies were able to locate the suspect and have the victim’s property returned to him. The suspect was arrested and cited with theft of property and battery in the third degree.
5. Intimidation, 10 block of Frate Train Lane, Conway. A man called for assistance when his wife locked him and his children out of their residence. The man told deputies that he had been involved in a verbal dispute with his wife regarding a television program that he was allowing the children to watch. The victim stated that his wife did not approve of the program and locked the door behind him and the kids when they went outside. The suspect stated that the children would not turn the volume down on the television and she was trying to sleep. She admitted that she had locked the door when they went outside because she was going to sleep and did not want to leave the residence unlocked while she did so. Both parties told deputies that they would get along in the residence together for the remainder of the night and work the situation out. An incident report was filed.
6. Trespassing, 70 block of Shoemaker Circle, Conway. Deputies made contact with a man who stated that his 80-year-old mother dropped a box of items off at his home while he was away and left a note telling him to stop breaking into her home and leaving his things in her residence. The man stated that his mother is constantly harassing him and falsely accusing him of things. An incident report was filed.
7. Impersonation, 130 block of E. Cadron Ridge, Greenbrier. Deputies spoke with a woman in reference to her sister stealing her identity. The victim was able to provide documentation showing that her sister has been getting credit accounts in the victim’s name since she was a teenager. The latest credit reports show two more credit cards that the victim did not authorize. The victim was advised of the prosecution procedure and an incident report was filed.
8. Simple assault, 30 block of Langley Trailer Park, Conway. Deputies made contact with a woman who stated that she had been involved in an argument with her boyfriend and during the argument the man hit her and bit her on the forehead. Deputies noted that the victim did have a red, swollen area on her forehead. The suspect had left the residence when the victim called for assistance and deputies were not able to locate him at the time of the report. The victim was given information on how to seek charges against her boyfriend and an incident report was filed.
9. All other offenses, Art Pond Road, Conway. Deputies responded to the area in reference to an abandoned vehicle that was parked in the roadway. Thew deputies were not able to find anyone in or around the vehicle and called a towing company to remove the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle was found and advised of the vehicle’s location.
10. Damage to property, 130 block of Merritt Road, Greenbrier. Deputies spoke with a man who stated that someone had driven a vehicle through his fence. There are no suspects for this case and an incident report was filed.
