Walmart

I thought all of these type products were locked up and an employee had to get them out and then be paid for in that department! Not ok to steal but also a lapse in judgement on the stores part. That's a lot of electronics to let someone walk around with.

@IDKM

I believe at certain times during the holiday season they have so many requests for electronics that the cabinets are left open. But usually they keep them locked and if you request an item the employee will get the item and take it to the electronics counter so it can be paid for right away.

Regardless, this guy is an idiot for doing something so obvious when there are cameras everywhere.

I hope Wal-Mart kept his $196.95.

Just an FYI, ucantbserious ... According to the report, "Evidence was retained by Walmart and the $196.95 was refunded back to (the suspect)."

Did he have to wait in line in customer service to get the refund?

I sure hope he did.

@i_wonder

Of course, that was part of his punishment. On top of that, he had to wait behind someone who was trying to return an item that Wal-Mart doesn't even sell and refused to believe the Customer Service employees when they hold the person that.
