Theres plenty of crappie in
Theres plenty of crappie in lake Conway from the septic tanks draining into the lake. Tasty fish covered in sewage its a good effort but that lake is gross.
I like the idea one day these
I like the idea one day these kids will have to hunt and fish to stay alive ,if our economy stays like this. I wouldnt eat the fish from that lake the kids should no what happened there with the sewage.
End Of The World
Don't worry about the kids.
Mayan predict that the world, as we know it, will end on the 21st of December, 2012.
In the last twenty years, we have definitely had an increase in the number of earthquakes, so eat all the "Crappie" (Ironic, ain't it?) you want.
Sewage?
I guess I havent heard about the sewage in Lake Conway. What happened?

"A preliminary report by the Lake Conway Conservation Committee has determined that the 6,700-acre lake has a "serious problem" with septic effluent flowing into the lake."
"After preliminary studies, the LCCC has found that there are an estimated 1,000 improperly installed or seasonally failing septic systems that contaminate the lake. The report notes that more than 90 percent of the residences within one mile of the lakeshore have on-site septic systems, and many of those were installed before the state had standards for installing septic systems."

Smells fishy,"Lake Conway sewer project"?!?!?!
crappie
I wish they would go someplace else. Why mess up the fishing for locals. A lot of us use the lake as entertainment. You don't have to eat fish. There is nothing like catching a 2 to 3 pound crappie on a long pole and jig.
Now I know
That explains a lot.... I've been eating fish from Lake Conway all my life.... I thought it was genetics.....
The headline
Hey look, if you didn't like the tournament, just say so; no reason to call the tournament "crappie."
