Bryant considering bid for secretary of state

Jimmy Bryant, director of the University of Central Arkansas Archives and Faulkner County JP, is considering throwing his hat into the ring for the upcoming secretary of state race.
Incumbent Charlie Daniels is term-limited, and cannot run again.
Bryant, who would run as a Republican, said he would make the decision in the next two weeks. If he decides to run, he could oppose fellow Faulkner County citizen Mark Wilcox, a Democrat.
