Among reports recently released by the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office and the Conway Police Department
1. Terroristic threatening at 801 Locust St. (Faulkner County Courthouse). 36-year-old Cristopher Lynn Richardson of the 500 block of Prothro Street, North Little Rock, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of felony terroristic threatening after allegedly declaring that he would blow up the Faulkner County Courthouse. According to Sgt. Joni Danielson of the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office, Richardson declared an intention to blow up the county landmark in front of what she said were “many witnesses” after a court hearing relating to a theft by receiving charge did not end to his satisfaction. Danielson said authorities did not immediately have reason to believe that Richardson had in his possession any explosives.
2. Commercial burglary at 705 South Donaghey Ave. (O and P Advanced Technologies) Victim reported that at some point between 5 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday someone entered the business by smashing a window and stole a flat-screen TV from the lobby. Nothing else seemed to be missing or disturbed.
3. Residential burglary at 100 block of Ash Street. Victim reported that at some point between 7 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday someone entered a residence through unknown means and stole a Vizio TV and HP Laptop.
4. Residential burglary at 600 block of Watkins Street. Victim reported that at some point between 9 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 6 someone had either entered a residence through unknown means and stolen an Xbox 360 game console and about 10 associated games or an acquaintance who dropped by looking for a roommate did it.
5. Residential burglary at 400 block of Watkins Street. Victim reported that at some point between Oct. 28 and Nov. 3 someone entered a residence through unknown means and stole two TVs, a Sony surround sound system, a Conway Corp. cable box, about $400 worth of DVDs and a gaming chair.
6. Breaking or entering at 300 block Pippinpost Drive. Victim reported that at some point between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday someone entered a vehicle through unknown means and stole a Dell laptop, Sharp LCD projector, Garmin GPS, a $200 rain jacket and two Pelican cases.
7. Possession of a controlled substance at 1015 Davis St. (Conway High School East). Suspecting that a 14-year-old student was in possession of something illegal or against school policy, an administrator searched the teen’s backpack to find three individually wrapped “baggies” of suspected marijuana. The student was questioned by another school administrator and then a CPD officer, who told the teen prior to his booking at the Faulkner County Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance “that if he were to go inside the jail facility and was hiding something that was illegal he would be looking at an additional and more serious charge,” and urged the boy to hand over any other illegal substances. About 20 minutes after the officer left him at the jail he was notified that jailers had found two more “baggies” of suspected marijuana inside his pants, and the officer returned to the detention center and advised that the teen should also face a charge of introducing a controlled substance into a detention facility.
8. Manufacturing/delivering/possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver at 400 block of East Robins Street. Officers serving an outstanding felony warrant at the residence of 27-year-old Gregory Smith at 475 East Robins St. found in Smith’s home a “baggie” of suspected crack cocaine, a bottle containing 10 tablets of suspected ecstasy and a loaded Titan Tiger .38 caliber revolver. Smith was arrested for the warrant and on suspicion of manufacturing/delivering/possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, maintaining a drug premises, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of firearms by certain persons and possession of drugs and firearms.
