Royden D. Periot 74, of Greers Ferry, passed away Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, at his home.
He was born Oct. 21, 1934, at San Antonio, to the late Murray Goode and Ella Rose Mickish Periot.
Royden was a veteran of both the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army National Guard and was of the Baptist faith, a loving husband, father and grandpa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Denise Rose.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Periot of the home; two daughters, Cheryl Ann Ward and husband Jerry of Greers Ferry and Tina Marie Boggs and husband Greg of Greenbrier; stepdaughter, Jessica Stewart of Pittsburg, Kan.; stepson, Zachary Hill and wife Elizabeth of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren, Daniel, Jeremy and Joseph Wheeler, Roy and Troy Boggs, Katie Ness, Seina Hill and Billy and Amanda Darr; three great-grandchildren, Lauren and Alexis Wheeler and Derek Eggleston; brother, Alvin Peroit of Bremerton, Wash.; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Cremation Arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton.
