Lasley-Brown engagement

Tabitha Hope Lasley and Johnathan Trey Brown

Tabitha Hope Lasley and Johnathan Trey Brown, both of Conway, have announced their engagement along with their forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Todd and Bryna Mitchell of Conway, and the late Stephen Lasley and Sandie Lasley of North Little Rock, Ark. She is the granddaughter of Roy “Butch” and the late Angel Schichtl, Hardy and Greta Mitchell, Stephen and Carolyn Lasley, Ricky and Sue Darter, all of Conway, and the late Newton Rhoades and Patsy Rhoades of North Little Rock.

She is a 2005 graduate of Conway High School and a 2006 graduate of Arkansas Beauty College.

She is currently employed at The Smith House Hair Salon.

The prospective groom is the son of Doug and Christy Brown of Lynnhaven, Fla. He is the grandson of the late John Brown and Jean Brown of Panama City, Fla., and the late James Holloway and Mary Holloway, and also the great-grandson of Louise McGinty, all of Greenbrier.

He is a 2006 graduate of Moseley High School in Lynnhaven.

He is currently employed by Oil State Entergy Services.

The couple will be married on Oct. 18, 2014, at the home of the bride’s grandparents.
