Miss Lauren Michelle Parker and Mr. Drew Anthony Gainor, both of Little Rock, Ark., have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. Mike Parker and Mrs. Pam Parker of Hot Springs, Ark. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Tom Cook and the late Mrs. Laura Cook of Bradford, Ark., the late Mr. Roland McNabb of Tyronza, Ark., and the late Mr. Fred and Mrs. Sara Parker of Forrest City, Ark.
She is a 2005 honors graduate of Jonesboro High School. She attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, and was a Magna Cum Laude graduate in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
She is a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority at the University of Arkansas and a member of the Junior League in Little Rock.
She is currently employed as a Registered Dental Hygienist at Reid and Rhea Dentistry in Little Rock.
The prospective groom is the son of Mrs. Carmelina Gainor of Trujillo, Honduras, the late Mr. Drew Marshall Gainor of Santa Monica, Calif., and Mr. Ron Clayton and Mrs. Sharon Clayton of Little Rock. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Norman and Mrs. Doreen Gainor of Calgary, Canada, and the late Mr. Lino and Mrs. Carmelina Lumbi of El Progreso, Honduras.
He is a 2005 graduate of Catholic High School for Boys in Little Rock, and a 2010 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance.
He is a member of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity.
He is currently employed as a Field Director at Northwestern Mutual in Little Rock.
The wedding is set to take place at 7 p.m. Oct. 4, 2014, at St. James United Methodist Church in Little Rock.
