The families of Sarah “Caitlin” King and Benjamin Carroll Thrash, both of Conway, are excited to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of David and Rhomie King of Conway. She is the granddaughter of Thomas and Hannelore King of Jacksonville, Ark., and Herman and Miriam Lee of Batesville, Ark.
She is a 2006 graduate of Conway High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Nutrition. She is currently a nursing student scheduled to graduate as a Registered Nurse this year.
She is employed as a Patient Care Technician at St. Vincent Infirmary and Conway Regional Medical Center.
The prospective groom is the son of Joe and Renee’ Thrash of Conway. He is the grandson of Ralph and Marilyn Worm of Conway and Carroll and Meredith Thrash of Springhill.
Benjamin is a 2006 graduate of Conway High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a major in Crop Management and a minor in Pest Management.
He will be graduating in May with a Master’s degree in Entomology and will pursue his doctorate at Mississippi State this fall.
He is currently a graduate student at the University of Arkansas where he conducts research in applied row crop entomology.
An intimate family ceremony is set to take place at 1 p.m. June 14, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
The reception will follow at the Conway Country Club.
