Stephanie McNespey-Newland and Dustin Worthey, both of Greenbrier, have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Alex Sr. and Miriam McNespey of Greenbrier. She is the granddaughter of the late Amos and June McNespey of North Little Rock and the late Dillard and Oledith Ussery of Vilonia.
She graduated from Vilonia High School. She is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas for her Bachelor of Science degree and a graduate of Arkansas Tech University for her Master’s in Educational Leadership. She will graduate in May from Arkansas State University with her Specialist degree.
She is blessed to be the principal of Westside Elementary in the Greenbrier Public School District.
The prospective groom is the son of Wendell Worthey of Conway and Sherry Block of Benton. He is the grandson of Dewey and the late Helen Worthey of Conway, Polly and the late Harold Reed of North Little Rock, and Ronnie and Dot Irons of Roland, Ark.
He is a graduate of Sheridan High School and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
He is a Behr Paint sales and training representative.
The wedding is set to take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013. An outdoor ceremony will be held at the couple’s home in Greenbrier.
The reception will immediately follow.
