Whitney DeHart of Conway and Sean Smith of Tucson, Ariz., have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Paul and Suzie DeHart of Conway. She is the granddaughter of Benny and Becky West of Lanty, Ark., and Richard and Helen Owen of Morrilton, Ark. She is also the great-granddaughter of Cleo and Lucy Masingill of Old Hickory, Ark., and the late Hester and Ruth West of Hattieville, Ark.
She is a 2007 graduate of Conway High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in business administration.
Whitney recently moved back from Florida where she was working as a retail manager in Walt Disney World. She is currently pursuing teaching as a career.
The prospective groom is the son of Ken and Terry Smith of Tucson.
He is the grandson of Walt and Rose Marie Giorgianni and Clifford and Jacquie Smith and the late Mary Gillespie Smith, all of Tucson.
He is a 2007 graduate of Sabino High School and a 2011 graduate of Northern Arizona University with a degree in visual communications.
Sean is currently employed as a graphic designer at Consolidated Label based in Florida.
The wedding is set to take place at 6 p.m., March 22, 2013, at Robinson Center Church of Christ in Conway.
