Britney Taylor and James Lloyd

Britney Taylor of Conway and James Lloyd of Vilonia have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Nick and Sharon Walsh of Conway and Brit Taylor of Stephens, Ark. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Bettye Taylor of Little Rock and Bill and Shirley Warner of Mabelvale, Ark.

She is a 2010 Honor Graduate of Vilonia High School. She is currently a senior at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock seeking two bachelor’s degrees in political science and criminal justice.

She is president of the Eta Sigma Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority and a member of Iota Mu Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society.

She is currently employed by Allied Wireless Communications.

The prospective groom is the son of Mike and Cathy Lloyd of Conway and Tommy and Carol Edwards of Vilonia. He is the grandson of Clyde and Cindy Kingery of Benton, Ark., and Alice Lloyd of Hot Springs, Ark.

He is a 2009 Honor Graduate of Vilonia High School. He is currently a senior at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock seeking a bachelor’s degree in history.

He is vice president of the Zeta Eta Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

He is currently employed by Allied Wireless Communications.

The wedding is scheduled for 1 p.m., on April 12, 2014, at Benton First United Methodist Church.
