Kennedy-Baker engagement

Katrisha Dawn Kennedy and John Clinton Baker, both of Conway, have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. Joel Kennedy of Little Rock, as well as Mrs. Diane Kennedy and the late Mr. David Kennedy of Conway.

She studied journalism, photography, and psychology at the University of Central Arkansas and earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications.

She is currently employed as a customer service technician for HP in Conway.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. John and Mrs. Georgia Baker of Conway, and the late Ms. Paula Baker of Wheatley, Ark.

He studied architecture and music at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and earned a bachelor’s degree in music education.

He is currently employed as a mortgage processing representative at Arvest Mortgage Company in Lowell, Ark.

The wedding is set to take place at 2 p.m. Nov. 3, 2012, at Hilton Garden Inn, Conway.

Following the wedding the couple will reside in Fayetteville.

Arkansas lawmakers advance junk food ban for food stamps
