Johnson-Norman engagement

Miss Sarah Johnson of Searcy and Mr. Daniel Norman of Shreveport, La., (formerly of Conway), have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.


The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Johnson of Searcy. She is the granddaughter of the late Raymond and Martha Sue Dawson of Lonoke and the late John Johnson and the late Ethel Johnson of Searcy.

She is a 2005 graduate of Searcy High School and holds an Associate of Arts degree in liberal arts from the University of Central Arkansas and is currently enrolled at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she will receive a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Norman of Greenbrier. He is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Fay Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Norman, all of Conway.

He is a 2008 graduate of Conway High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

He is a project manager for American Tile and Marble in Shreveport.

The wedding is scheduled for 2 p.m. December 15, 2012, at Trinity Baptist Church in Searcy.
