Steve Finch of Lonoke, Ark., and Jeanine Finch of Conway announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Estelle Finch, to Joshua Clay Hackney of North Little Rock.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Frank and Vivian Mauldin of McCrory, Ark., and Ellis Finch and the late Myrtle Finch of Lonoke, Ark.
She is a 1999 graduate of Lonoke High School and a 2007 graduate of Arkansas State University, with a master’s degree in elementary education.
She is employed with Lonoke Public Schools as a 5th grade literacy teacher.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jimmy and Sherry Hackney of Gillett, Ark.
He is the grandson of Jennie Whiting and the late Shelby Whiting of Tichnor, Ark., and Margie Hackney and the late Weber Paul Hackney of Gillett.
He is a 1997 graduate of Gillett High School.
He is employed by Dassault Falcon Jet as an Aerospace Welder.
The couple will exchange vows in an outdoor ceremony at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at the Buckshot Duck Lodge in Gillett. Bro. Bob Marble will be officiating.
