Stevensons to celebrate 70th wedding anniversary

Weldon and Reva Stevenson of Flippin, Ark., formerly of Holland, Ark., will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at their residence.

Family and friends are invited to attend.

No gifts are requested.

Reva Cargile and Weldon Stevenson were married Feb. 19, 1944, in Norman, Okla.

Weldon retired as director of Twin Lakes Vo-Tech in Harrison, Ark., and Reva is a retired secretary.

The couple has two children, Michael Stevenson of Lavaca, Ark., and Cathy Long of Flippin. They survive one daughter, Becky Drewry.

They enjoy eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
