Mr. and Mrs. Merrel Kenneth (Kenny) Blalock Jr. will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013.
The couple met in Wichita Falls, Texas, while Kenny was stationed at the Shepherd Air Force Base. Kenny and Reva were married at The Church of Christ of Wichita Falls on Friday, Dec. 14, 1963, then traveled to Jacksonville, Ark., where Kenny was stationed at the Little Rock Air Force Base to start their beautiful family full of wonderful memories.
Kenny and Reva Blalock of Conway are the wonderful parents of three loving children: Denean (Blalock) Green and husband Chris, Merrel Blalock and wife Marilyn, all of Mayflower, and LeeAnna (Blalock) Frank and husband Scott of Conway.
They are also the most proud grandparents of seven beautiful and handsome grandchildren: Toshua (Green) Thomas and husband Jacob, Jennifer (Green) Lee and husband Tim, Savanah Blalock, Little Kenny Blalock, Karlee Frank, Madison Frank, and Cameron Frank, and also two precious great-grandchildren: Ayden Lee and two-week-old Tayton Thomas.
Kenny and Reva have endeavored in several careers that include motor cross racing and a motorcycle shop in Jacksonville, a bicycle business in Conway (Pegs and Peddles), a long extensive career in aviation and aerobatics that included a reputable aviation restoration business known as Special Products Aviation in Conway. Kenny also served our country with the United States Air Force and is currently an active DAR. Reva is now retired and enjoys her family and loving life.
Mr. and Mrs. Blalock will celebrate their 50 years of marriage with family and friends, then a long awaited trip to the beautiful islands of Hawaii.
