Mr. and Mrs. Carroll were married on April 26, 1963, in Little Rock. They have two children, Bret (Sandra) Carroll of Conway and Misti (Reid) Allison of Sanford, Fla. They have five grandchildren.
Jerry “Tater” is retired and a 50 year member of the UA Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union 155. He enjoys fishing, hunting and gardening. He is an active member of his church and serves as a deacon. He volunteers for mission work and every year gives of his time to the World Changers Organization. Also, he volunteers in his community and was a member of the Vilonia Disaster Relief Alliance.
“Miss Joyce” is a homemaker. Her lifelong mission has been taking care of her family and loving them unconditionally. She loves her church and all her friends. On the rare day she’s not doing for others, she loves to browse at antique shops and flea markets. She spends her quiet time reading her Bible or a good book. She enjoys cooking meals and baking her homemade baked goods.
Each month, she enjoys making homemade bread, cakes and pies to give to someone on their birthday. With a humble spirit, she lives out Proverbs 31, and warms the heart of anyone fortunate enough to know her. She makes everyone feel special!
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV).
